Housing cost overburden in the EU countries

What share of people, whether their home is owned with or without a mortgage or rented at market price or at a reduced rent or free (all tenure statuses), are in households where total housing costs, after deducting housing allowances, take more than 40 % of what the household receives from work, investment and social benefits, after paying taxes and social contributions (disposable income), also after deducting housing allowances?

This total mixes very different situations, and the European Commission says it should be read together with the breakdown by tenure status.
